Terms of Use

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) stipulate the conditions and procedures for using the website and related services (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) operated by Hankook Special Gas Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “HKSG”), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the user and HKSG.
Article 2 (Definition)
“User” refers to any individual accessing HKSG’s website and using the Services provided by HKSG in accordance with these Terms.
Article 3 (Binding Effect of the Terms)
  • These terms shall take effect upon being posted on HKSG’s website.
  • HKSG may modify these Terms, and the modified Terms shall become effective upon notice in the same manner as in Paragraph 1. The modified Terms shall take effect immediately upon notice.
Article 4 (Rules Outside the Terms)
Any matters not specified in the Terms shall be governed by the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, and other applicable laws.
Article 5 (Service Interruption)
HKSG may temporarily suspend the provision of Services due to maintenance, replacement, malfunction of computer or information and communication equipment, or interruption of communication.
Article 6 (User Obligations)

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

  • Registering false information
  • Using another individual’s information
  • Modifying information published on HKSG’s website
  • Transmitting or posting information (such as computer programs) other than that which is set forth on HKSG’s website.
  • Infringing the intellectual property of HKSG or other third parties.
  • Defaming or obstructing the work of HKSG or other third parties.
  • Other illegal or inappropriate activities.
Article 7 (Account Deletion and Disqualification)

Users may request deletion of their account at any time, and HKSG may restrict or terminate a user account if:

  • False information was provided when joining
  • Any laws or these Terms were violated while using the Services
  • Continued membership of the user is deemed unsuitable in the reasonable judgement of HKSG.
Article 8 (Attribution of Intellectual Property Rights and Usage Restrictions)
  • Copyrights and intellectual property rights for any content created by HKSG belong to HKSG.
  • Users shall not without prior consent of HKSG reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, use for commercial purposes, or provide to third parties any information whose intellectual property rights belong to HKSG and obtained through the use of HKSG’s website.
  • If HKSG uses copyrighted materials owned by a user, HKSG shall notify the user on the year or usage under these Terms.
Article 9 (Dispute Resolution)
  • In the event of a dispute between HKSG and a user regarding the use of Services, both parties shall negotiate in good faith for an agreement.
  • If a lawsuit is filed for a dispute in relation to the use of Services, the court having jurisdiction over the location of HKSG’s headquarters shall be the competent court.
